Heidi ho and off to work we go. The first shot has topped the grunge look for 2009. With Heidi’s light complexion and the golden sand, the mixture was not a real chemical bust. The diminishing light of day and the tide rolling in, and the camera’s choice to fuzz-ball the background we have charming results. Notice the camera angle at Heidi’s head. There is no neck! The evening shadows have masked that anatomy of her leaving the impression of a head stuck on shoulders. No! This is definitely a poor picture, that I think even Picasso would be delighted. Too much gold lighting, I think I have come across the National Treasure! Tone it down will ya! Please do not have Heidi press her breast too hard. It looks as if she is testing for lumps. In shot three there is too much ceiling, and we are too far away from Heidi. Again with the messy room, I would like to have a word with the cleaning lady. Okay, the fourth shot is not even bearable. Why would the photographer emblazon the scene with so much light and gold. It does not set anything up, does not arouse any emotional response, and clearly requires closer viewpoint of Heidi. The outdoor shots and pinkish tones make Heidi pasty, and the ashen look is splotched throughout. Number ten is the best composition; there is drama and wistfulness about Heidi’s face. The influx of her lover/husband and friend give gracefulness to the union. Heidi is a slender blond, with great features and deserves better coverage than that which has been chosen.
