Jodie Starr as a goddess is a misnomer If she were, then the settings would be a little more luxurious and a little more refined. What happened in shot five for goodness sake? Was a bear mauling Jodie, or was the chair she was sitting in slowly swallowing her pride? That must be one of the worst shots since the old King Kong movie. The shots are cheap (cheap shots), and the colour, tones and ambiance are all wrong. They are all wrong for Jodie. She is sweet, vivacious, and theatrical in some of the compositions. The shot angles are too low going up and miss some of the neck and shoulder views that would be a bit more delightful. They are drab she is not. She has the perfect rose only poetry and love could position. But d’ya think the camera would have demonstrated some of that? Well Duh!
